I bought three of these 12 months ago for our spaniels, they are as good now as the day we bought them. The holes haven't wore at all. You do have to replace the silencers every 3 months or so, and they are 22p each so it doesn't break the bank! I have found the embossing method far more successful then engraving, especially on working dogs. I can not recommend this product highly enough and have found the company a pleasure to deal with.
